Italian brand Turri announces that their 'Ratio' sofa has received a prestigious ADA (Archiproducts Design Award) prize in the furniture design category. The design award recognises excellence in creativity and innovation among brands and designers worldwide. The 'Ratio' sofa's unique concept and design won the jury's favour this year.
A homage to rationalism, Ratio is a collection of upholstered furniture which tells a story of contemporary elegance through its woven leather structure. The collection is the culmination of furniture designer Toan Nguyen’s vision for a more ideal existence, and Turri’s long history of expert craftsmanship. without resorting to nostalgia and remaining faithful to comfort in tandem, Nguyen's Ratio collection provides an escape from the busyness of our everyday lives.
The paired low tables are meant to define a shared space with balanced contrasts. The 'Ratio' sofa, on the other hand, in its woven leather structure, freely conveys contemporary elegance. Without compromising on the comforts of modern lifestyles, this sofa design features an abundant seat with large, fabric-covered cushions. It is supported by a metal structure which is wrapped on the sides by a leather weave. The product design is available in two, three, and four-seater versions.
"We would like to thank and celebrate Toan Nguyen, our collaborator for the Ratio collection, without whom these impressive achievements would not have been possible," mentions a statement shared by the brand.
