A new collaboration between Qeeboo and Satyendra Pakhalé brought to life a product design titled Ghoda Chair that was presented at this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan, Italy. Pakhalé designed a furniture design with an energetic physical presence halfway between soft and hard, between flesh and object, between craft and industry.

Ghoda Chair is a chair design with an energetic physical presence. The seat has evolved from the industrial designer's most iconic work, the B.M. Horse family created in 2000 as limited editions in bronze. The Ghoda Chair refers to its ‘sensuality’ and 'spaghetti-lost-wax-casting-process', it’s a project between craft and industry, and it blends the ancient cultural roots and contemporary pop culture. Now, industrially produced by Qeeboo in recyclable polyethylene in several colours and mixes, Ghoda Chair becomes the main character in any indoor or outdoor space.

The product designer, states, “Ghoda Chair is refreshing in its sensuality, re-eroticising the world, as it were. This makes it very much ‘present’ in space – almost like an object that has always been there, that has come from the distant future and the past at the same time. It looks at the past and the future in a single stroke.”
