SUPERMOODBOARD by Paolo Castelli at Cersaie 2021

The special SUPERMOODBOARD project presented at the Supersalone also inspires Paolo Castelli’s space at Cersaie in the Contract Hall, the area specifically dedicated to architects and designers, with a particular focus on the contract world. SUPERMOODBOARD is the special project devised to show the research that goes into every product, decoration and complement of the brand, in an organic and expressive way - just like in a mood board. The focus is particularly on the materials ok which each piece is skilfully made by master craftsmen, mostly in Emilia where the company is based. These feature natural materials - stone, marble, wood, glass and metal – but also innovative with an ecological soul; each one is handled according to traditional procedures, paying strict attention to the certified source of the raw materials and the sustainability of the production processes.

The presence of Paolo Castelli in the Contract Hall underlines the company's vocation to operate in close relationships with designers, both in the residential and contract sectors. Thanks to the collaboration with qualified Italian artisans, the company offers the possibility of creating completely bespoke interior projects, always telling the design uniqueness and the very high quality that the world identifies with Made in Italy in a different way.

 New at Paolo Castelli

The sofa and the armchair belong to Vao collection (Greenkiss line), a special line of upholstered furniture - sofas, armchair and pouf - with curvy shapes and generous dimensions. This line, with its green commitment, has a structure with legs in solid eco-sustainable ash wood, padding made from self-extinguishing organic rubber and natural wadding with jute straps. Also on display are the coffee tables from Lens and ARCHE collections. The space is enlivened by the dramatic light installation Labilis and the floor-standing Comet lamp. The round table belongs to the ALBA collection of tables, featuring a combination of natural and industrial materials. The table is completed with  U Chair, presented at the Supersalone for the first time. The U Chair perfectly combines simplicity and craftsmanship. The table is further illuminated by a scenographic Golden Disc, a striking pendant lamp created from a combination of refined materials. The attention to detail and the elegance of the design are also told through the furnishing accessories: Icone Luminose and Appendiabito inspired by the art of Giorgio Morandi.
