Inkiostro Bianco transforms the bathroom concept with its new 'InkBath System'

During Cersaie 2023, Italian brand Inkiostro Bianco presents its exclusive 'InkBath System,' a cohesive proposal to revolutionise bathroom designs with ease, without the need to demolish it, to transform it into a creative space. "We will enact a complete metamorphosis of your bathroom, revealing its true potential," the brand promises.

The 'InkBath System' makes it possible to combine bathroom furnishing elements with either wall decorations on EQ.Dekor fibre glass wallpapers or decorations applied directly onto sanitary ware.

The project stems from the capsule collection 'Geometric Landscape' consisting of six wallpapers initially proposed on EQ.Dekor fibre glass as a material suitable for humid environments, which can also be printed on classic supports of Vinyl, Raw and Tela. This capsule collection was created by designer Luca Papini, who worked across the fields of industrial design, exhibit design, graphic design and lighting design. Papini has previously collaborated with Inkiostro Bianco for the Inediti Serie 01 collection, bringing his experience of work and art direction into the bathroom furnishing sector with the 'InkBath System' project.

In addition to the wallpapers, the decoration included in the 'InkBath System' also spreads, once again designed by the Italy-based designer, on the sanitary ware by Ceramiche Galassia, with direct application in firing by the mastery of Terzofoco, an excellence in the field of handcrafted decoration on ceramics. A line of combinable bathroom cabinets has also been envisaged with the possibility of customisation on the doors with the same graphics chosen for the EQ.Dekor fiberglass walls.

Paint Makers' wall colours contribute to the final touch with a specially coordinated colour scheme based on the wallpapers of the capsule collection. It is, therefore, a work of many hands in which the technical skills of each partner complement each other to create a unique project that aims to revolutionise the bathroom setting.

Choosing to transform your bathroom with the 'InkBath System' will not require any demolition of any kind, as all one needs to do is prepare the surface adequately to allow the application of the EQ.Dekor fibre glass on the wall, and then, the sanitary ware and bathroom furniture.

Inkiostro Bianco sees the 'InkBath System' as a significant step forward in its development as a project consultant, precisely because it is no longer working on a single decorative element alone, but on a system that embraces the interior design of the entire room, as witnessed with this endeavour. The aim of this capsule collection is to reveal the potential of the bathroom environment, combining creativity and functionality, to transform it from a place of ordinary, everyday life into an oasis of creativity and well-being.
