Stories Work and Work Well Seated: Good Design is Good Business, two publications by Andreu World related to the future of offices. Divided into 12 chapters: Natural, Collaborative, Comfortable, Reusable, Multipurpose, Individual, Domestic, Hybrid, Horizontal, Healthy, Open and Connected. It also includes a selection of examples that can serve as inspiration for continuing in the task of being a little better every day. It is our small tribute to the city that was the World Design Capital 2022, Valencia, where our company’s roots also originate.

Soon, work will no longer be what it used to be. It is possible that even the word 'office', which has been used since workers spoke Latin to say "I go to the place where I exercise my officium" will disappear. There must have been some major cause for this transformation process to accelerate and from one day to the next we realise that we are facing a new workers’ revolution.

Technology arrived to make our lives easier and it has completely changed it—we now meet naturally via screens. Home and work are no longer two different things, and a new hybrid model will be imposed, we just have to wait for the next generations to take over. Office designs will need to be more sustainable, healthier and also more comfortable so that people will continue to want to go in to work.

The interior design of offices of the future is being conceived today, to prioritise people’s well-being. Flexible working, social interaction and contact with nature will also be important from now on. A change is taking place that will be profound. This also applies to furniture. We will continue to analyse new needs in order to offer the best solutions.
