High-quality standards, unparalleled functionalities, and award-winning product design: three characteristics define the faucets, showers, kitchen sinks, and accessories by Hansgrohe. Spurring the evolution of bathroom design, kitchen products and more, the brand reaffirms its commitment to the pursuit of customer benefit. What constitutes the best of 2023 for Hansgrohe?

Revisiting partnerships, products and showcases, STIR enlists people, pieces, places and events that Hansgrohe stirred within the past year.

1. People

Together with its long-standing design collaborator PHOENIX, Hansgrohe created holistic product solutions for the bathroom alongside smart living applications that enhance everyday life with improved functionality, safety and aesthetics.

At ISH 2023 in Frankfurt, Hansgrohe exhibited with the motto ‘Celebrate Change.’ For the design event, the brand collaborated with architect Peter Ippolito, breathing life into holistic bathroom concepts.

2. Pieces

Hansgrohe expanded its oeuvre of ceramics with new product designs responding to the change in consumer behaviour. The brand introduced Xelu, Xevolos, Xuniva and EluPura.

The rounded design language of the Xelu washbasin collection is what Hansgrohe calls SoftCube. Hansgrohe Xelu, with its spacious inner basin, is the all-rounder for the family bathroom—whether for bathing children or washing their hair.

Xevolos wash basins are characterised by clarity and straight lines. The large inner basin offers ample space for mundane rituals while care products find a place on the large faucet hole bench.

Hansgrohe Xuniva provides maximum design freedom apropos of shape and installation. The high-quality ceramic washbasins are available in four geometric shapes—from round to oval and RaceTrack to SoftCube—and three selectable installation types.

Hansgrohe unveiled a new toilet range titled ElaPura. Owing to two design variations (round or SoftCube), the designs seamlessly blend with an array of bathroom ambiences.

3. Events

The pioneering brand presented a holistic vision of the bathrooms and premiered with furniture design, sanitary ceramics, and mirrors, at ISH 2023. Staged by architect Peter Ippolito, the new products invited visitors to take a trip into their dream bathroom.

STIRred 2023 wraps up the year with compilations of the best in architecture, art, and design from STIR. Did your favourites make the list? Tell us in the comments!
