Pietro Franceschini is an architect and designer based in Milan and New York. He applies a contemporary design vocabulary to a classical Italian sensibility. Irreverent and emotionally impactful, Franceschini's furniture design reflects his desire to combine playful energy with sophisticated, timeless elements. A resolutely twenty-first-century designer, he imbues his work with questions about reality, functionality and digital illusion.

The furniture designer’s new collection titled, Six Variations, is a collection of six chairs in stainless steel and fur. The chair designs investigate the possibility of finding new aesthetics for stainless steel. Pipes, largely used in industrial applications, are combined with spheres and fur to create, statement and sculptural pieces.

With his latest collection, Six Variations, the Italian designer challenges conventional perceptions of materials by reimagining stainless steel into striking and sculptural chair designs. By marrying industrial elements with luxurious fur accents, he not only creates visually captivating pieces but also sparks intriguing conversations about the intersection of reality, functionality, and digital illusion in modern design.
