Mario Trimarchi pushes 'Close to the Edge' at Milan Design Week 2023

This year’s edition of Doppia Firma. Dialogues Between Design and Artisanal Excellence is centred around playfulness, celebrating the alliance between design innovation and the tradition of great master artisans. The exhibition will take place from April 18 to 23, 2023 at Palazzo Litta, in Milan during Salone del Mobile.Milano. Doppia Firma is presented by Michelangelo Foundation and is a project by Fondazione Cologni in partnership with Livingcorriere.

Mario Trimarchi Design is presenting its collection Close to the Edge, Unique pieces of marble and glass, which was presented for the first time at Palazzo Visconti during the 2022 Milan Design Week. The collection features master glassmaker Massimo Lunardon and marble by gruppotoscomarmi, and is an attempt at creating a broader universe of glass and rocks.

The collection introspects on the boundary between natural and artificial, between found and designed, wondering whether, by chance, this boundary still exists.
