Mario Trimarchi extends his poetry in the world of things to Milan Design Week 2023

Trimarchi's three carafe and glass collections: Amaranta, Andalusia and Rivoli, are an extension of his design philosophy that relies on the research of sculptural objects.

Extending his philosophy of projects being tools for spreading poetry in the world of things, Mario Trimarchi presents three collections at Rho Fiera Pad 6 Stand F32 at Salone del Mobile.Milano, Italy from April 18 to 23, 2023.

Amaranta Collection

Elegantly faceted glasses and a carafe tell the perfect story of the fragmentation of light, trying to restore deep surfaces to the user, passing through all the nuances of transparency. The stems climb with decisive angles, looking for the sweetest way to accommodate the grip of our fingers. It exists both in a totally transparent version and a version with an opaque amaranth stem and handle.

Andalusia Collection

The Andalusia collection is characterised by simple cylindrical cups, and supported by vertical rods in full glass that surprisingly change colour as they climb towards the warm Andalusian sun. The support on the ground is a small perfectly flat orange disk.

Rivoli Collection

The Rivoli collection investigates the kindness in the gesture of pouring water; the carafe, owing to the small glass placed on top, invites one to pour with a careful and measured movement, so as not to waste even a drop. The precise slowness in the inclination is necessarily elegant and gently accompanies the pouring of the liquid with its thousand rivulets. Rivoli is a gesture of thanksgiving for the gift of water, reminding one of the gestures of the monk who joins his hands in the shape of a cup to offer a child a refreshing sip.
