Poltrona Frau wins the 2021 NYCxDESIGN Award with Plot by GamFratesi

Founded in 1912, Poltrona Frau has been refining its sophisticated expertise in hand-crafted workmanship through 103 years of history. This expertise, perfected through time, continues to be passed down by master craftsmen from generation to generation. Today, as in the past, this heritage of knowledge and skill is captured within each piece of Poltrona Frau furniture.

Since its preview to the press, the Plot room divider, developed in collaboration with the designer duo GamFratesi, has garnered widespread praise and plaudits.

The Interior Design Magazine’s NYCxDESIGN Award honours the new entry in the Poltrona Frau collection with a prestigious official recognition as best product in the Residential Furniture category, for which it was shortlisted.  

Rules to apply for the award are strict. All submissions are reviewed by a jury of design industry leaders, who consider the products’ concept as well as aesthetical and functional characteristics.

After last April’s worldwide digital presentation, the Plot room divider will be displayed at the Big Apple’s Poltrona Frau Flagship Showroom in Soho starting May 24th. The NYCxDESIGN Awards’ winning products will also be published in Interior Design Magazine, both digital and print.
