Poltrona Frau at London Design Festival 2021

Established in 2007 by South Kensington Estates, Brompton Design District is the oldest of London Design Festival’s design districts and unique in its close dialogue between established design brands and temporary programmes curated around an annual theme and known for championing experimental design. From Here Onwards For the London Design Festival 2021, the theme for Brompton’s pop-up programme is ‘From Here Onwards’. The District offers a platform to prescient voices in design and asks us to consider what happens next. High-end interior brand Poltrona Frau will open its doors, presenting new collections and unveiling intriguing installations alongside the festival’s experimental design and digital programmes. 

Among the presentations are the newly launched ‘Take Your Time’ 2021 collection, fragrance line in collaboration with Acqua di Parma, and even a special reveal of the Infinito table.

Take Your Time Collection

Affording ourselves the luxury of taking all the time we need to appreciate every last detail. The '2021 Take Your Time Collection' focuses on these three senses to define a better quality of living and of life, granting us the pleasure of enjoying our time to the fullest. Sight, Smell, Touch - Affording ourselves the luxury of taking all the time we need to appreciate every last detail. 2021 Take Your Time Collection focuses on these three senses to define a better quality of living and of life, granting us the pleasure of enjoying our time to the fullest.

Sight: For some time we have complemented our traditional excellence in leather processing with research into other materials. Many new products in the collection are developed, from the design phase onwards, on the basis of this sensory duality - leather or fabric, wood or marble. The meaning of true contemporary luxury is not possible without materials of only the finest quality. Two examples of virtuoso design and textural projects can be seen in the home office segment although it is perhaps seen most clearly in the one of a kind, limited-edition Infinito∞ table sculpture.

Smell: Acqua di Parma meets Poltrona Frau. From the meeting of two historic and iconic purveyors of Made in Italy comes a project that combines domotics, aesthetics and innovation for an intense and engaging multisensory experience.

Touch: The Poltrona Frau wears Loro Piana Interiors collaboration, meanwhile, stems from a desire to expand our offering of high-end upholstery with one of the world’s most respected brands, providing customers with a unique tactile experience.

Infinito Table

Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni and produced by Poltrona Frau in a limited collection, the Infinito Table is an exceptional work of art, as unique as the marble from which it takes shape. The brand will celebrate the presentation with a special preview in a spectacular setting in their London professional space. 

Acqua di Parma X Poltrona Frau

Acqua di Parma, the symbol of the purest Italian style, and Poltrona Frau, synonymous with leather culture, research and design, present the new CarDiffuser, within the Airound collection. An elegant designer article, devised, like the Smart Home Diffuser, by the multi prize-winning duo of designer GamFratesi, planned in every detail to offer an all-around sensory experience. The result is a new original expression of the affinity.

Acqua di Parma, together with Poltrona Frau, presents the first Smart Home Diffuser for environments that combine design and home-automation technology in an entirely innovative way. Two historical companies, icons of Made in Italy yet focused on today, have worked together for the first time to develop an original project, entrusting it to GamFratesi, a multi-award-winning pair of designers. This avant-garde object will bring an intense, enveloping, multi-sensory experience to today’s homes. With the new Smart Home Diffuser, Acquadi Parma has expanded its Home Collection, proposing an original, innovative way to experience home fragrance and offering the possibility of modulating the olfactory atmosphere according to individual desires.
