A great team, strongly oriented towards imagining the future of light in the overview of Made in Italy. The continuous exchange of ideas, the test of new technologies, selection of different and high-quality materials, along technical experience makes MM Lampadari a dynamic company that contributes towards a new concept in the world of light.
Clessidra, a suspension lamp by prominent interior lighting brand MM Lampadari, adorned the set of one of the most famous culinary talent shows in the world, MasterChef. Designed by Matteo Zorzenoni, an Italian designer who experiments with materials to create innovative products, the suspension lamps perfectly light up the set with direct and ambient light. Clessidra bears the imprint of the famous Italian brand, while also fitting in well on the MasterChef Italy set.
Arranged to hover over the kitchen counter of the MasterChef Italia set, the elegantly shaped lamps are characterised by two domes connected to each other by a galvanic cylinder. While the lower dome lights up the workshop area, the upper dome houses another light bulb that is directed towards the ceiling. By filling up the MasterChef set with direct light for ease in working and indirect ambient light for overall brightness, Clessidra serves a dual purpose.
Designed to make a statement, the Clessidra suspension lamps float above the kitchen counter and appear like elegant decorative hourglasses anticipating the preparation of the dishes below. The dark black colour and shiny matte finish of the lamps imbue them with a rich texture, making them suitable for the already lusciously coloured interiors of the MasterChef set.
