Isola is thrilled to launch the sixth edition of Isola Design Festival during Milan Design  Week, from 7 to 12 June 2022.  
With the overall theme Together As One, Isola brings together more designers and works than ever before, connecting designers and design professionals from all over the world during the 6-day event, as it is already digitally every day on isola.design.
“With Isola, we play a strong role in connecting emerging designers and professionals in the design industry. The physical and digital platforms aim to empower our fast-growing network, connecting people from different backgrounds and disciplines, allowing them to learn from one another, push their limits, and harness togetherness” says Gabriele Cavallaro, Isola’s Co-founder and CEO.
Isola Design District is welcoming more than 250 international designers and design  studios this year, in addition to the local galleries and workshops, in over 30 locations  along the streets of one of the most lively neighbourhoods in town. Many of the exhi bitions and installations are curated by Isola, giving the stage to the most exciting  projects of the brightest talents from Isola Design Community. Moreover, during the  event, Isola’s completely renewed online platform will launch a new way for designers  to inspire and connect!
This year’s theme: Together As One
Design is no longer about the final product. It’s more about the process, the metho dology to build cohesive solutions to our world’s challenges, a journey in which we  build togetherness and purpose, leading to the development of smart, sustainable,  and life-changing solutions. Today, designers, manufacturers, architects, consumers,  decision-makers, and every stakeholder in the industry are called on to work Together  As One.
Isola will initiate and play a vital role as a physical and digital platform to connect all  professionals within the design industry. How? Creating an environment based on  core values of sharing, collaboration, and experience, and are delighted to keep the  pulse of the city’s creative production and inspiration.
Exhibitions and installations curated by Isola
Each of the exhibitions curated by Isola have a unique theme, focusing on circular de sign, new materials, modern craftsmanship, environmentally responsible production,  social design, and collectible pieces.
