New York -based luxury furniture and lighting brand Ralph Pucci has opened a new gallery in Miami, located in the Wynwood District in a 1960s former warehouse. The 10,000 sq. ft. space houses a vast exhibition space to showcase its stable of globally renowned artists and designers as well as its collections. To celebrate the opening of the gallery, French designer Elizabeth Garouste has created striking murals on the building’s exterior called Strange Vegetation, while architect India Mahdavi, artist-designer Hervé Van der Straeten and architect, artist and designer Patrick Naggar will all present new work.

“Miami is an exciting, vibrant city where many cultures and creatives come together. The local community and visitors appreciate quality design and we have enjoyed a decade of success there already in our previous gallery. We are excited to have more space to show the diverse works of our collaborative artists and designers,” shares Ralph Pucci.

India Mahdavi, a French-Iranian architect, arranges several pieces in a special area of the recently opened gallery. Mahdavi showcases the Tartagnan screen, new Vers Huit Heures coffee tables, and her Oedipe sofa that is six metres long. Fun Ride, a series of exclusive and limited-edition furniture design, mirror, and lighting fixtures by Hervé van der Straeten, makes its premiere in the United States. John Wigmore, an artist and lighting designer, offers a range of vibrant, large-scale wall lights measuring 40–50 inches in width. He also introduces Gold Lines, a new Triptych light. The main area is illuminated by more than seventy Wigmore side tables and lamps.

The exhibition includes six large-scale pieces, three contact sheets, and three portraits by renowned photographer Christopher Makos of Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, and Jean Michel Basquiat. Almost Spring is a set of white-on-white photographs by photographer Marjorie Salvaterra that are adorned with crystal details. Parisian designer, Elizabeth Garouste is showcasing Beans, a new collection of seven furniture and lighting designs in vibrant colours and free-flowing forms that were created at Ralph Pucci's New York sculpture studio using its exclusive 'Plasterglass' material, in addition to murals she designed for the exterior.

The opening of Ralph Pucci's newest gallery confirms Miami's status as a centre for creative innovation while also enhancing the city's allure as a destination for design enthusiasts. This vast exhibition area is more than just a showroom, it is a monument to unbounded imagination, beckoning locals and tourists from around the world to see the wonders of contemporary design and artistic endeavours.
