Milan is currently awash with colour thanks to Salone 2022, with its exhibits by thousands of designers, architects, and furniture brands. In conjunction with the 60th edition of Salone del Mobile, Meridiani will present the latest version of their Plinto table. Designed by Andrea Parisio in 2015, the table has now been rendered with a wider banner and scope of customisations while featuring a proposal with a monolithic look that can be tailor-made into multitudes of combinations, materials and finishes.

The W-version showcases a complete, mono-bloc base with three or four legs as options and tops with different geometrical shapes and dimensions. It can adapt to any design with limitless selections of materials and finishes, from a broad spectrum of lacquer colours, marbles and wood tints. The materials in every permutation strongly denote this iconic collection as furniture pieces which never forget formal neatness and design balance in all its versions.

The new Plinto table has a sculptural soul that is ever-transforming with its balance between shapes and finishes. Inspired by the Latin word ‘Plinthus’ that translates to the architectural element supporting a column or the base of a building, the ‘Plinto’ table recalls stability in its form and name. The flexible nature of the collection makes it perfect for both residential and commercial settings. It can blend well in a penthouse, apartment with an urban soul, an epoch residence and even a trendy office. When customised with the broad banner of finishes and materials by Meridiani, the table can steal the show in any room and create a focal point for any interior setting.
