As part of the Chelsea Design Quarter Springtime Sessions, Monique Tollgard, co-founder of the Tollgard Design Group and David Goodman, COO of the internationally renowned David Collins Studio with co-hosts Jeff Hayward and Susie Rumbold came together for a panel discussion organised by Roca london Gallery. The participants discussed how they – and we – can measure success for an interior design business on 28 April, 2022.
Monique Tollgard, along with her husband, Staffan Tollgård, launched Tollgard Design Group in 2005, with the intention of delivering interior design services across the globe. Since then, it has grown into a multi-disciplinary studio showcasing its bold take on contemporary design time and again.
UK based design firm, David Collins Studio, has not only won several awards in the fields of interior design, product design and architecture, but has also been setting milestones in hospitality, residential and retail destinations internationally. The studio works with brands that represent excellence in their fields as well as private clients who share a passion for detail, craft and refinement.
In the world of interior design, success can mean many things to different practitioners. Is it by the size of your practice? The prestige of your projects? Your profitability? Your industry recognition? Or something else entirely? Together, the speakers brought to the table their experiences, expertise and insight to achieve a clearer perception of accomplishment in a creative realm.
