At the 2025 edition of 3daysofdesign, Copenhagen's annual design fair, Kristina Dam Studio presented The Artistic Home—a sensorial collection that invites visitors to experience the atmosphere that emerges when sculptures and artistic furniture are brought into quiet dialogue with the rituals of daily life.
Renowned for its distinctive approach that dissolves the boundaries between furniture design, sculptural design and forms inspired by architecture, the studio showcased its latest collection at the design event which took place from June 18 – 20, 2025, within the luminous interiors of Frederiksgade 1, a historic venue that frames panoramic views of the city's iconic Marble Church.
The Artistic Home collection continues to embody Kristina Dam Studio's guiding ethos of sculptural minimalism, an approach where bold architectural expression is tempered by restraint, craftsmanship and material clarity. The product designs interweave beauty with intention, with each piece reflecting a belief in the transformative power of thoughtful design to elevate the everyday into something quietly extraordinary. "My philosophy has always revolved around the idea that our surroundings shape who we are. Creating a space that reflects creativity brings light, calm, and peace into everyday life," notes Dam in an official release.
The 2025 collection expands the Denmark-based studio's repertoire with contemporary designs that integrate seamlessly into the rhythms of everyday life. Rooted in Scandinavian design traditions and architectural form, the collection's pieces—ranging from furniture such as cabinets, hangers, racks, stools to accessories like vases, sculptures and art pieces—are meticulously crafted in natural materials and composed in a monochromatic colour palette that feels grounded and enduring.
Far from being purely decorative, the Artistic Home collection is spatial as well as conceptual. It suggests a new way of living with art, where it's not something separate from the everyday, but woven into the fabric of domestic life. The collection makes a quiet case for the idea that function and beauty don’t cancel each other out; instead, they can shape a space that feels both purposeful and deeply personal. Kristina Dam Studio doesn’t treat the home as a blank canvas, but as something layered and lived-in—a place that reflects who we are and continues to evolve with us.
