Italian brand Lema embarks on a new chapter in its journey, embracing innovation and aesthetic research. A true expression of Italian manufacturing excellence, the company entrusts its new artistic direction to the A++ architecture studio led by Paolo Colombo and Carlo Colombo, who also designed the exhibition concept for the Salone del Mobile 2025. The refined and immersive installation at the design festival this year interpreted Lema's philosophy through a renewed narrative, seamlessly blending avant-garde aesthetics, tradition, design and functionality.

"Lema is opening a new chapter in its history, with a vision that places the home at the heart of living—a space that fosters an authentic and emotional bond with those who inhabit it," says Angelo Meroni, president of Lema. "Now in its fourth generation, Lema continues to merge innovation and tradition, strengthening its identity in the contemporary design landscape with an increasingly global and distinctive approach," he adds.

Lema's home was revealed as a space to be lived in, a place of connection where design serves well-being and quality of life. The furnishings, conceived to create enveloping atmospheres, transformed spaces into settings for shared experiences and cherished memories. The stand, inspired by a sophisticated home layout, invited visitors to the design event on a journey that evokes the warmth and elegance of an authentic living space. "Every Lema project is designed to welcome, to make each space feel familiar, elegant and perfectly attuned to contemporary needs. It is a story that continues to evolve, preserving its essence while looking towards the future with a conscious gaze," shares Carlo Colombo, creative director of the A++ Group.

At the same time, Lema renewed its coordinated image and presented a new catalogue, a narrative that explored the brand's versatility and essence through three distinct homes. This warm and authentic approach enhanced not only the beauty of the furniture designs but also their role in everyday life, turning interiors into welcoming and lived-in environments. Each element interacted harmoniously, creating fluid and coherent compositions where every detail contributes to shaping a familiar yet refined atmosphere.

The stand's architecture was redefined both in language and configuration: a grand entrance portal welcomed visitors, offering glimpses of the interiors and reinforcing the desire for a space to be both discovered and inhabited. The journey unfolded around the fundamental moments of home life: living, sharing and resting. Essential lines, sophisticated textures and a colour palette inspired by warm and neutral earth tones created a harmonious atmosphere.

The journey through Lema's home began in the living area, divided into two distinct spaces. The LT40 system, in its new configuration, embraced a central area dominated by the Yard sofa and Alton armchairs, complemented by Dolmen coffee tables. In the second area, the Mirea sofa design by Roberto Lazzeroni and the freestanding L25 system by Officinadesign Lema, presented in its daytime version, both a 2025 novelty, harmonised with the Francis coffee tables and Maddix armchairs in wood and tobacco brown nubuck leather.

Adjacent to this, the dining area featured the August table design in matte white Celadon marble and Blanca armchairs in Elara fabric in a delicate stone-grey shade, also designed by Lazzeroni. In the background, the Selecta system in walnut L with textile cladding marked the transition from the soft fluidity of the living area to an initial space dedicated to wardrobes and storage solutions.

Here, the spotlight was on VentriTre, the walk-in wardrobe system by David Lopez Quincoces, a modular design that reinterprets storage in a contemporary key. LT40, presented in its hazelnut-toned island version, further enhanced storage capacity. Completing the setting were KYN doors in heat-treated oak, which, thanks to the new Omnya cladding system, integrated with a passageway portal between the home's different zones. In the second walk-in wardrobe, the Cloud sofa in warm white textured fabric introduced a refined balance alongside VentriTre, the LT40 vanity unit, and the striking Eklissy doors in glossy lacquered rose tones.

The area dedicated to relaxation was also divided into two zones. The Maddox bed in oak-stained ash and mocha leather, paired with Top bedside tables in walnut with glossy dark brown tops, conversed with L25 in its daytime oak charcoal version and the Omega armchair. In the second area, the Lullaby bed was framed by the LT40 3D Boiserie in oak charcoal—another 2025 novelty. This second bedroom opened into an elegant space where L25 in walnut melamine with bronze uprights integrates seamlessly with the other wardrobe elements, creating a harmonious dialogue between proportions, materials and nuances. Here, the Niveaux sofa and coffee table were paired with the Gullwing table, forming a refined relaxation island. The wardrobe alternates transparency and solid materials with the Tian wardrobe and Omnya cladding.

The experience concluded with a final space celebrating comfort and conviviality, combining a second living area with a dining space. Selecta provided the backdrop for the Bulé table in exquisite reconstructed white Candoglia marble, surrounded by Bea chairs in chocolate-coloured leather. The relaxation zone, dominated by the Ares sofas and Hasu armchairs, was completed by Francis coffee tables, the LT40 system with its new boiserie and Orion coffee tables enhanced by the new oak-stained ash finish.

During Fuorisalone week, Lema also took centre stage at its Milan flagship store. Spanning over 300 square metres across two levels, the space was reinterpreted with an architectural and styling concept that highlights the new collection and the company's iconic product designs, offering an immersive experience in the heart of the city.
