The new showroom, located in Railtown (Vancouver, Canada), mirrors the Italian designer kitchen brand’s identity through a unique and engaging stylistic concept developed by Garcia Cumini. It showcases a wide range of iconic solutions as well as new products embodying Cesar’s philosophy and image.

A prestigious partner for this opening is Inform Projects, a leader in Canada when it comes to bringing high-end European furniture design to the most luxurious multi-residential projects in Vancouver. “With extensive experience in the premium market and the contracting sector, Harvey Reehal and Vannessa Hewitson have proven to be the ideal partners for accompanying Cesar during this crucial step in its ongoing journey of international affirmation and expansion,” explains Dante Cester, shareholder and Export Sales Manager for Cesar.

A chance encounter between Dante Cester and Inform Projects led first to collaborations on exclusive contracting projects and, in recent years, to the idea of introducing Cesar’s iconic products to the high-end retail market in Canada as well. We offer much more than simply a finished product. Our attention to detail throughout every stage of the process connects our teams and our clients – primarily designers, developers, and architects – fostering trust and stimulating innovation in design. Our work is based on three fundamental principles: creativity, precision, and quality. The demand for high-end European kitchens in the Vancouver market, and in parallel, the expectations accrued by designers, are constantly growing, due to a greater understanding of the value product and an increasing appreciation for high-quality, long-lasting Italian cabinetry," shares Inform Projects.

For over 10 years, Inform Projects and Cesar have successfully partnered in supplying kitchens in the Vancouver real estate market. Since 2016, Inform Projects has observed the significant and inspired evolution of both the Italian brand's product and materials, advancement in collaboration with Garcia Cumini's art direction, appreciating its craftsmanship and tradition while also appreciating its innovation-focused vision of kitchen design. "Cesar seeks out and internally develops a constant progression of technologies processes and materials that allow creative freedom and evolved systems. It is encouraging to be witness to their relentless dedication to growth and excellence while respecting what we consider as core values in line with our business. This new design building at 411 Railway presented the perfect intersection to launch a Flagship Store and invite everyone to get acquainted with Cesar's vast offering".

Located on the west coast of Canada, Vancouver is recognised for its modern and innovative architecture, where natural beauty and cultural diversity have a strong influence on design trends. The iconic skyscrapers, designer residential buildings, and renovation projects that grace the city, emphasise the aesthetic and functional aspects of architecture, an architecture that is sustainable and respects the environment. Vancouver is home to numerous interior design companies and studios, and the multi-cultural quality that characterises the city is manifested through cultural influences from all around the world, making for a highly diversified and eclectic furniture and design scene.

The new Flagship Store is a space with a unique and emotionally engaging personality that encourages discovery and inspiration, in which every product design and finish has been carefully chosen to offer the Canadian market and future Cesar clients a memorable experience. Its aesthetic is a fusion of modern and authentic elegance: while maintaining some of the building’s strong features, like the sculpted central column and the concrete wall, a wooden floor with a classic pattern in natural colours and three types of lighting – natural, architectural, and decorative – have been selected to create, together with the softness of the curtains, the feeling of home.

The layout of the space has been designed to maximise comfort and fully immerse visitors in the Cesar 'mood', allowing them to explore the latest products and finishes while ensuring that each product gets the attention it deserves. The newest product has been positioned in the display window: the Tangram island with Fior di Pesco engineered stone worktop and Groove doors in a Nichel Anodyc metallic effect lacquered which, thanks to a three-dimensional manufacturing technique, accentuates its fluidity. Completing the composition are the Maxima 2.2 tall units with Shaker doors in the same finish as the island and recessed portal door equipped with bases, and Dressup Line with Fior di Pesco engineered stone shelf covers and both worktop and back panel in the same finish.

Moving on, the Unit island, presented in the Magnolia silk lacquered finish, gives the model a perfect balance of lightness and solidity of volume. The compositional design continues with Maxima 2.2 bases and wall units, featuring various versions of the Dressup system in a Champagne finish: with exposed shelving, glass doors, and doors in the same finish as the island. To separate these two areas, The 50s double-side with modules in Rovere Termocotto and Laguna structured lacquer, equipped for the kitchen and, as a multifaceted and multifunctional solution, also for the living and dining area, opening up a dialogue between the areas of the home. Sharing the space with Unit and Tangram is a kitchen environment composed of a dual system of islands, Maxima 2.2 in Technomat Brace and N_Elle in Breccia Imperiale marble, connected by a snack surface in Rovere Mediterraneo and the same finish as the Intarsio tall units. These three models, featuring both technological and natural materials, harmoniously coexist in a single composition which blends with the adjacent living area, created with the Dressup system with Rovere Corvino doors and showcase, paired with the Gap suspended module and Unit coffee tables in Breccia Imperiale marble.

The artistic direction of Garcia Cumini oversaw the implementation of every aspect of the Flagship Store, from architecture to product, from the selection of materials to the creation of the displays. “We were guided every step of the way by a passion for perfection and a shared desire to create an extraordinary space that represents the best for the Cesar brand, in which the kitchen becomes the emotional centre of the home, reflecting the beauty and harmony of the people who live there. We’re confident that the Flagship Store in Vancouver will become a benchmark in the world of kitchen design. An essential destination for design and style enthusiasts.”

“I have enormous confidence in Inform Project and believe that their partnership in the Vancouver Flagship Store will be very successful for Cesar in the Canadian market as well as in northwestern America,” concludes Dante Cester.
