Armani/Casa x LuisaViaRoma launch new capsule collection

Armani/Casa has created an exclusive capsule collection for the LVRSustainable section of LuisaViaRoma. Driven by principles of sustainability and conscious design, the collection was conceived with the aim to promote low environmental impact products made by upcycling or recycling luxury materials such as silk and vegan sources such as wax. Embodying the notion that ‘doing good’ can look good too, the projects bring fabric remnants back to life by turning them into elegant accessories. Armani/Casa has crafted each piece with vegan materials using eco-friendly practices. The collection consists of four pieces: a scented candle, a notebook, a rectangular valet tray and decorative covers for cushions.

The products are another step in the Armani Group’s commitment towards sustainability without compromising the style that the brand is known for. The contemporary home collection fits seamlessly into the atelier’s chic style codes and adds a touch of sophistication to any room. The scented candle, Ray, is made from 100% vegan wax and the glass container features a mirrored surface in silver color, while the lid is made up of wood, refined with non-toxic paint. Enriched with bright notes of tuberose and magnolia, the resulting scent of the candle is a combination of a spicy-woody fragrance with a fresh and variegated twist. Each candle comes with a matching sachet of Armani/Casa silk that was hand-sewn to repurpose pieces of precious fabric. Both Robbie the multipurpose valet tray and the notebook Rothko, are clad in eye-catching fabric remnants. The Roxanne pillowcases, a collection of six decorative covers for cushions, offer the luxuriously spun silk with elegant Art Deco-meets-Eastern-inspired prints.
