Embarking on its Salone del Mobile journey, Italian manufacturing company Vismara Design will conceive a space unearthing areas that allow visitors to experience high-end entertainment in the greatly intimate ambience of a home environment. The space, a configuration of multiple areas, each with distinctive features, encapsulates a homely and warm atmosphere where one can sit back and unwind amidst the home-like comfort. The Metropolis Collection, inspired by urban architecture, skylines and geometric lines, pays homage to cultures' fusion, innovation and progress with exquisitely contemporary design and timeless styles. The course begins with dedicated areas for games and entertainment, each with a unique character and set of interactive products: Table tennis table, videogames table, air hockey, pool table, poker and Blackjack tables. The itinerary culminates in the home cinema and media room, both epitomising an experience of invigorating relaxation.
The new Blade table tennis is an intriguing reimagination of the classic game of table tennis, revolutionised and upgraded to create an exclusive product. The finished piece combines high quality materials, structural sturdiness and meticulously crafted details. The structure in its entirety, barring the wooden playing surface, is upholstered in leather. The Blade table tennis table is equipped with all requisites for the game – removable net, table tennis bats and balls – cleverly concealed away in a hidden drawer, and its versatile design allows it to function as a conference table.
The Kubrik reclining sofa is a unique modular design offering unparalleled comfort. This sofa’s incredible adaptability makes it perfect fit for modern home cinemas, multifunctional media rooms and living areas. Its streamlined and modern design, backed by a thorough research and study of ergonomics, makes the seat’s comfort endure prolonged use. Owing to the presence of two motors, the reclining system for the backrest and footrest can be controlled independently from that of the headrest, achieving optimum contentment and convenience. At Salone 2022, Kubrik will be displayed in a media room dedicated to multiple sources of entertainment having television as their common thread: ranging from films to karaoke nights, video game tournaments and more in an environment fostering good time, either alone or with kith and kin.
The Vismara exhibition booth is adorned with the creations of Architettura Sonora, a Florence-based company focussed on designing speakers with a strong sartorial vocation. Their products display an amalgamation of technology and aesthetics, featuring high performance and paying close attention to design and natural materials. The lighting inside the Vismara exhibition booth is provided by Milan-based brand Servomuto, a producer of decorative lamps with a peculiar style. All creations by Servomuto embody true craftsmanship, and their incessant experimentation with materials and finishes enhances the uniqueness of the products.
