Italian luxury brand, Visionnaire, recently unveiled two new collections with the iconic designers Alessandro la Spada, Marijana Radovic and Marco Bonelli of M2atelier. The brand has worked in two directions: on the architectural dimension – an already mutable space that has changed even more in recent years – but also on the definition of unique, ingenious furnishings, driven by a desire for functional versatility.

The Babylon Rack project

Home is above all the abode of our spirit and our dreams; a positive place in which to feel“safe,” but also a haven in which we recognize and rediscover ourselves. In this sense, the home evolves together with our lives, spaces and functions become as mutable as our emotions and our needs. Flexibility to adapt to change is a fundamental paradigm of its architecture, and of the design objects we choose, due to the emotions they stimulate as they become irreplaceable presences in our world. Visionnaire has worked in two directions: on the architectural dimension – an already mutable space that has changed even more in recent years–but also on the definition of unique, ingenious furnishings, driven by a desire for functional versatility.

Entirely designed by Alessandro La Spada, as the evolution of the iconic Babylon model – has been conceived as a work of modular mini-architecture, with many functional features for studying, working and relaxing. In recent years these activities have taken place inside the home, and have had a growing impact on the nature of domestic spaces, facing us with a new challenge: to think of every room as a dwelling in its own right, complete and independent.

Caprice : An escape from monotony and boredom, a caprice of the heart – but above all of the imagination – it is a collection that reminds us how important it is to live with passion and a bit of nonchalance. A reminder of summer journeys, the magical coastlines of Italy, the fleeting beauty that makes happiness even more intense and coveted, and – at last – an invitation to smile again, to rediscover the sense of what we are always searching for: love and freedom.

The capsule collection designed for Visionnaire by Marijana Radovic and Marco Bonelli, alias M2atelier, responds to the needs of many places and moments of life, with the same versatility in both indoor and outdoor settings, where the common denominator is the same as well: comfort.

Within an idea of global design for psychophysical wellbeing, emphasising the most profound and emotional aspects of man, green areas become the true protagonists of the home, as large spaces for regeneration. Places where the experience of beauty is still possible, in which all living things are manifested in a spontaneous way.

“We firmly believe that life inside and outside the home can mingle in a fluid, seamless way, with continuity between domestic interiors and gardens, thanks to sustainable projects that combine fine craftsmanship and high technology,” say the designers. “We can identify with the values of the Visionnaire brand, and for the development of our collection we have relied in particular on three inspiring and guiding concepts: nature, for the choices of colors and materials with a constant accent on ecological aspects; design for the formal choices, detached from the architectural container to express a new approach to socializing thanks to ample proportions, with seating that allows the body to relax in an informal way; and contamination, in the sense of a dialogue between different worlds, languages and functions," they add.

Caprice reflects a particular focus on the sartorial quality of furnishings and finishes, with the aim of responding to the needs and expectations of a very demanding clientele that wants to acquire timeless, sophisticated products. Visionnaire has responded to the challenge suggested by the designers to demonstrate its manufacturing prowess at new levels while establishing a dialogue with a new generation of customers.
