String Furniture presented a new collection of pieces at Salone del Mobile in their fifth year of participation. Visualised by styling icon Lotta Agaton, the exhibition stand in Hall 15 featured a visual play of illusions with walls which were blue on one side, and green on the other arranged parallelly. For the design of the walls, String Furniture drew from its extensive product portfolio and presented various storage solutions and sophisticated furniture pieces for every area of the home including the kitchen, the study and the patio.

Extending the Museum collection of products designed by the TAF Studio from Stockholm, the new Museum Candle Holder was on display. With its subtle design language, the Candle Holder provides an ideal stage for favorite pieces, while also serving the purpose of presenting one’s treasured belongings stylishly. "We believe there are aesthetic benefits to choosing different heights for table settings. Positioned at the top for New Year’s Eve and further down for everyday use", say the founders of TAF Studio, Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom.

String Furniture also presented the re-edition of their ‘Tiny mirror cabinet’. Designed by Kajsa and Nisse Strinning, the Tiny Cabinet is perfect for storing small treasures and trinkets such as jewellery, perfumes or spirits along with decorative glasses. Owing to the mirrored surface of the inner rear wall that gives the cabinet visual depth, when unveiled, the Tiny Cabinet is also an elegant eye-catcher in any room.

Furthermore, to provide storage space for those things that should disappear behind closed doors, String Furniture also presented the new Cabinet Element with a Flip Door. The new storage unit joins the existing closed cabinet elements with drawers and sliding doors that have been available in the String Furniture portfolio so far. A height-adjustable shelf inside the cabinet provides additional storage space. The cabinet element is available in the same colours and materials as the String System– white, beige, grey, black-stained ash, oak, ash and walnut.

The Swedish company also displayed a new module for closed storage spaces called the 'String system'. It comes in three small pre-configured variations and provides a smooth introduction to the versatile modular product universe of the Swedish shelving classic. For the kitchen, bathroom or hallway, the Sedish furniture brand offers a complete package with the most important components for the respective area. Each box includes a String System Kit, consisting of two side panels and two shelves with a low edge both in white.

In addition, the kits come with the appropriate accessories for the respective application. For instance, the kit for the hallway contains practical coat hangers and hooks for hanging jackets and umbrellas; the set for the kitchen includes a plate rack and glass rails and the kit for the bathroom comes with a rod for towels. If desired, the String System Kits can be extended individually with further elements from the String System portfolio.
