Rossana Orlandi's master gallery holds the promise of a guiltless plastic future

For the third edition of the international project of Rossana Orlandi along with her daughter Nicoletta Orlandi Brugnoni, to involve the world of design in creativity under the sign of 'Save The Waste Waste Is Value' at Salone 2021 have created a visionary place where design, art and architecture grapple with re-waste. Born out of Orlandi's initiative, RoGuiltless Plastic reinterprets the use of plastic and recycles the 'waste' to produce furniture, tableware, fashion, sculpture

RoGuiltless Plastic will take place at three sites across the Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci. In the two Gardens of the Cloisters, the TrashFormation Village, a village where to discover environments created by international architecture firms, who were asked to use recycled or recyclable materials and new technologies. In the two arcades of the Cloisters, the Hall of Waste will laud designers, universities, institutions and companies that have led projects and technological research generated by re-waste leasing new life to a responsible circular economy. The initiative gathers designers and organisations such as Mario Cucinella, Arch. Lucio Micheletti and Rubner Haus, Mario Zanon, Pininfarina Architecture, Indexlab, TecnoSpa, Metalco, Carlsberg, Politecnico di Milano and Patricia Urquiola x GAN.

Also on display will be the finalist projects of the Ro Plastic Prize 2021, which this year has received the Official Partnership of Qatar Museums. On 9 September the Ro Plastic Prize Award Ceremony will celebrate the winners of the three categories of this edition Urban and Public Furniture Design, Responsible Innovation Projects, Emotion on Communication.
