Otto armchair by Alejandro Villarreal for Hayche is as poised as it is practical

The Otto armchair is a playful and sophisticated piece that blends a simple and functional metal frame with a sculptural and warm plywood backrest and seating area. The playful juxtaposition of materials is typical of its designer, founder and creative director of Hayche, Alejandro Villarreal. The metal connector between the armrest and the metal frame adds a clear and distinctive touch. The armchair is stackable up to four chairs and comes in three different finishes: white metal frame and oak plywood, black metal frame and oak plywood, and black metal frame and walnut plywood.

The metal frame is a low VOC powder-coated steel base, and the FSC oak veneer is applied on formed birch plywood. All the components of the armchair are easily detachable, aiding in the process of reparation, renovation, and recycling. The Otto armchair is also available in COM upon request for the seating pad.

Part of the collection is also the The Otto dining table which is modelled along the characteristics of the chair and blends a simple and functional metal leg with a warm table top. The dining table comes in three different sizes and finishes. All the components of the table are easily detachable, aiding in the process of reparation, renovation, and recycling.
