Frette presents their Spring/Summer 2023 collection in celebration of L'Esploratore

With the Spring / Summer 2023 collection, the Italian brand ushers the spirit of exploration, discovery and wonder into the luxurious world of fine Italian linens. Defined by inspired colourways, patterns and materiality, the collection invites the explorer to savour the renewed sense of opportunity, growth and freedom that comes with a new year; embarking on a spirited journey, uniquely characterised by exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Giving way to an immersive experience , rich hues drawn from natural landscapes evoke this pursuit of adventure. Warm 'Sunset Red' transports one to untouched deserts, accented with shades of 'Umber Brown' to ground the collection to its natural roots. Rich textures inspired by rocky vistas and evolving dunes further layer luxe dimensionality to the SS23 offering. Acting as a vibrant counterpoint to the desert escape, pieces featuring the season’s Lagoon colourway reflect the creative expression of those explorers drawn to the sea. Bed Linens

New to the masterful assortment of Frette embroidered bed linens is ‘Intreccio Embroidery.’ This captivating product design inspired by artisanal craftsmanship adorns pure cotton sateen by way of interlacing embroidery, introducing subtly graphic and rich, dimensional style to the bedroom. Available in two colourways, the embroidered sheet set and duvet loans subtle intrigue in its 'Milk / Savage Beige' variation, whilst the 'Milk / Umber Brown' alternative offers a distinct contrast, tied to the grounding accent hue found in nature. Expanding the 'Bold' bed linen collection are two new colour variations for Spring / Summer 2023: Sunset Red and Lagoon. Cotton sateen sheet sets and duvets are presented in the classic Milk base and distinguished by the aforementioned hues by way of contrasting borders. Frette’s iconic 'Links Embroidery' motif—celebrated as a modernised interpretation of the traditional design pattern—has been imbued with a lively seaside spirit owing to the interlacing of the dual-tone chain links of Savage Beige and Lagoon, adorning pure cotton sateen. For a cooler sleep experience, the soft and smooth cotton poplin of Triplo Bourdon has been reinterpreted to feature this season’s Lagoon hue, which beautifully punctuates a pristine white base.

Quilts and Throws

The explorer’s seaside adventure continues with a brand new creation added to Frette’s assortment of decorative throws. The 'Sunday Blanket' has been brought to life from exceptionally soft yarn-dyed linen, masterfully woven to realise a modern, minimalist plaid-bordered jacquard, finished with refined fringe edges. The Lagoon hue also transforms the perenially favourite 'Pure Cashmere' Throw. Composed of 100 per cent cashmere, this sumptuous accent introduces a wonderfully soft and incredibly cosy element to indoor and outdoor spaces alike. Topping the bed is a new seasonal iteration of the distinctive 'Rectangular' Light Quilt. Imbued with a contemporary personality, the new Dunes cotton sateen jacquard draws design inspiration from organic patterns found in nature. Rippling lines reminiscent of windblown sand detail this new design, which stands as a masterful demonstration of Frette's weaving expertise. The explorer is transported to the serenity of the desert with a duvet cover, given warmth by way of neutral hues and dimensional texture. Continuing this season’s conversation surrounding craftsmanship, innovation and artisanal expertise is Luxury Earth. Bedspread and cushions are realised from a sumptuous blend of silk and yarn-dyed cotton, which has been masterfully woven to deliver rich texture inspired by the dimension of Earth’s natural surface in two neutral variations: Umber Brown and Savage Beige.

Bath Collections

Newness for Triplo Bourdon carries seamlessly from the bedroom to the bath, with a new seasonal iteration of the contemporary 'Triplo Bourdon' Towels. Super soft and plush white cotton terry is adorned with a triple line of Lagoon embroidery and finished with a clean cotton sateen border for a modern accent with a distinct personality. Frette’s mainstay Unito bath towel collection is invigorated with two new colourways—SS23’s Sunset Red and Lagoon. Each terry piece is distinguished by rounded edges, and finished with cotton piping, making for an impactful, modern addition to the bath. Completing the season’s new iterations of Frette bath classics is Links Embroidery, transforming pure cotton terry with a Savage Beige / Lagoon motif, imbued with timeless sophistication.
