As a reflection of their interest in exploring glass in the interior landscape, Fiam Italia will be presenting an assortment of furnishings at the Salone del Mobile 2022. Commemorating 60 years of its establishment, the design fair will witness the largest gathering of artists, designers and architects from across the globe during the Milan Design Week 2022, from 7th June 2022 to 12th June 2022.

For Fiam Italia, the exploration and infinite possibilities of innovation are not just limited to the use of glass, but rather textural fusions where diversities are emphasized. Hence, the Italian interior brand produces charming pieces of furniture which can inhabit any interior landscape. Their objects of installation are compatible with a diverse range of contemporary and cosy spaces with the aesthetic appeal and tones of three styles: pure, modern and sophisticated. Fiam Italia’s collection at Salone del Mobile 2022 is powered by the atmospheres of the MOOD project by the company, in collaboration with Adele Martelli, the brand’s art director.

The dining area is characterised by tables that liven up the ambience with valuable processing and high-quality materials, featuring spaces and moot settings from a contemporary home. One such table in the display is the Cristaline table by Marcel Wanders Studio. A visual delight featuring Fiam Italia’s unmatched craftsmanship in glass fusion techniques, the Cristaline table is synonymous with grace and opulence. Marcel Wanders, while designing the table drew inspiration from the enchantment of a floral bouquet as a reflection of perfect geometry and a poetic texture. Marcel Wander’s Studio will also be presenting the Echo collection of cupboards and showcases. Rendering in expansive new designs, the echo collection reinterprets glass in a repetition of patterns, tactile sensations and visual perceptions. The distinctive features of the cupboards give the users a chance to appreciate glass from every direction thanks to Fiam Italia’s experimental skills and Marcel Wanders studio’s careful research.

Further on, Fiam ventures into the intriguing play of perspectives with the Agos dining table. Designed by Ludovica+ Roberto Palomba, the feet of the dining table steal the attention of the observers. As the real protagonist of the piece, the dining table’s base is made up of metal with the structural feet supported by crosspieces holding the polymorphous fused-glass top. Fiam Italia’s pavilion will also showcase the contemporary Newton chair, designed by Studio Klass alongside Patrick Norguet’s Oscar chair. While the Newton chair is cosy and sinuous, the Oscar chair completes the dining proposal with an invitation to comfort. Both the chairs hold charismatic personalities matched with the perfectly upholstered fabrics and solid wooden base. In the display, one can also notice the brand-new lamps designed by Adele Martelli that are concise, collected, soft and almost ethereal. The Pearl lamps are like luminous gems guarded by a crystalline sphere. Paired up with Fiam’s atmospheres, the pearl lamp creates an entrancing vibe for the entire space.

An important element of decor that is established in the form of Fiam Italia’s mirrors is the latest adaptations of the Venus mirror by Vittorio Livi- the Founder of Fiam. Vittorio Livi’s Venus mirror drew its inspiration from two ancestral elements- fire and glass. Adorning the walls of any lively space, the venus mirror holds the persona of a real gem, with its frame designed with fused glass and characteristic patterns.

Over and above the bespoke pieces, Fiam Italia will also display, the Pasha mirror by Dainelli Studio, the Hype project consoles made of precious marbles and Matteo Nunziati’s Carrara sofa, which is the first-ever sofa designed for Fiam Italia’s banner.

Fiam Italia will be exhibiting its collections at the Salone del Mobile fairgrounds, Pavilion 5, Stand B11, Fiera Rho, Milan.
