Chelsea-based art and design gallery Tuleste Factory showcased Lavish Delight at COLLECTIBLE New York 2024 in its Exhibitors MAIN section, uniting luxury design, 'lavish' materials, 'sensory' delight and sumptuous colours. On view from September 4 - 8, 2024, at the design fair in New York City, the design exhibition presented itself as an avenue 'where luxury met pleasure in the most exquisite ways', featuring works by contemporary artists and designers who are masters in utilising unique materials to shape innovations transforming the "ordinary into the extraordinary", as the NY gallery relays. STIR, as a media partner with COLLECTIBLE NY 2024, revisits the myriad offerings of Lavish Delight by Tuleste Factory at the design event.
Alexandre Ligios

Colours of JoYE by Joseph Yanney Ewusie
Ewusie’s Colours of JoYE introduces the concept of 'recycled luxury' crafted from a unique material made by mixing powdered remnants of the marble industry's waste with pigments and resin. His sumptuous and avant-garde composite offers the weight, beauty and luxury of marble while prioritising environmental consciousness. Today, when more individuals are environmentally savvy, Ewusie exemplifies how innovative design and sustainable design practices can be integrated to transform our waste into useful objects.
Dean & Dahl
In 2015, Gabriel and Brooke Anderson launched their furniture design brand, Gabriel Dean Design. Sotheby's called them 'designers to watch' and indeed, they have quickly gained recognition for their pieces which effortlessly inhabit the space between rigorous mathematical precision and an almost whimsical freedom of form. Now Gabriel and Brooke are taking the same sensibilities that have made their furniture so successful and applying them to the field of interior design with their new venture: Dean & Dahl.
Facture by Quincy Ellis
Founded by designer Quincy Ellis, Facture is a contemporary design studio located in Brooklyn, New York. Facture creates dynamic pieces from moulded resin by manipulating the elements of light, colour and transparency. This exploration is central to all of Facture's work, with each design featuring unique colours, shades and opacities. The final results achieve new dimensions in the medium of resin, consisting of objects whose compositions and meanings change in response to the environments in which they are placed.
Ian Alistair Cochran
Cochran is a designer who is excited by unconventional materials and the relationship that emerges in working with them. He makes contemporary art furniture in resin, fibreglass and composites, and continues to explore other materials not typically used in the design world. Cochran’s Plump furniture series has garnered significant press and fanfare.
Miranda Makaroff
Born in Spain in 1984 to an Argentine father and a Spanish mother, Makaroff was surrounded by a creatively vibrant environment from a young age. This nurturing atmosphere allowed her the freedom to explore various artistic mediums, leading her to develop a unique creative language that integrates different art forms seamlessly. As a painter, sculptor, designer and actress, Makaroff's diverse interests shape her creative expression. Her works in art and design have been featured at prestigious venues such as Moco Museum, Art Basel Miami Beach 2019, Mirat Projects Madrid, and Estudi Tur Costa in Ibiza, where she currently resides and showcases her art under the name of Pamplemousse.
Roham Shamekh
Over the past decade, Shamekh has been a trailblazer in pioneering a unique approach to transgressive design, seamlessly blending art with his keen introspective observations of the world. His creations boldly defy conformity, embracing intuition and existential contemplation to craft multidisciplinary art compositions that effortlessly transition between contrasting intensities. Emerging as a leading figure in progressive experiential design in the Middle East, Shamekh's eponymous anti-conformist label, established in 2016 and based in Dubai, has garnered widespread acclaim for its innovative floral and tattoo collections, bringing compelling storytelling to life in design.
Timbur by Ezra Ardolino
Timbur is an experienced digital fabrication studio that explores the intersection of design, materiality and robotics as a source for re-imagining the natural world. Founded in 2009 by architect Ezra Ardolino, Timbur has developed distinctive projects for some of the world’s leading architects, designers, artists and brands. Stack and Bark collections are the result of Timbur’s foray into product design, pulling from their deep roots in digital fabrication and robotics engineering to create unique objects that blur the line between hi-tech and handcrafted.
TF Planters
TF is a collection of indoor-outdoor planters created by Tuleste Factory. The collection includes both traditional and contemporary shapes in a variety of colours, all handcrafted by artisans in Mexico. Each planter is composed of fluted fibreglass and is available in both standard and oversized designs.
