Sculptural minimalism has been a guiding principle since the beginning of Kristina Dam Studio, influenced by movements like Bauhaus and Japanese design, as well as journeys through neighbourhoods and cities around the world. This influence became an inspiration for the new collection titled Journeys

The collection embodies a refined and distilled aesthetic, grounded in an exploration of form and material. Steel, a material that has become increasingly favoured, brings beauty and strength, enduring quality to product and furniture designs in the collection. The studio's focus is on crafting items that are not just visually captivating but also highly functional, blending industrial design with minimalist refinement.

Each furniture and product design in this collection reflects a commitment to creating durable, timeless pieces that elevate everyday living with a sculptural, architectural edge. The studio's passion for diligent craftsmanship is evident in every item, and each design is more than just an interior object - they add a statement to any room.

The Foldable series merges industrial and refined aesthetics, distilling design to its essence. Inspired by warehouse shelving, it features clean lines, brushed stainless steel, and L-profiles. Visible joints and bold bolts add a minimalistic yet distinctive touch. Intricately designed for multiple purposes, it transcends traditional design, allowing fluid integration into various living spaces and offering ease of storage and relocation.

Crafted from powder-coated perforated steel, the design of the Grid wall cabinet adds an element of visual interest. Its see-through aspect keeps the cabinet light and airy, allowing a glimpse of the items inside, perfect for displaying accessories or as a spacious yet unobtrusive storage unit.

The Bow series introduces an exquisitely designed bedspread and pillows that embodies a blend of tranquillity and distinctive materiality. The furniture designer has designed to be both understated and visually engaging, Bow makes a statement in any bedroom setting. Inspired by furniture strapping, the design is both strikingly geometric and soothingly simple.

The Rock series is distinguished by its bold interplay of forms, where the precision of modern design meets the raw, organic beauty of nature. The Rock Vase and the Rock Candle Holder presents a visually striking contrast, combining the sleek, cylindrical shape of brushed stainless steel with the rugged, unrefined top of black marble. This juxtaposition creates a sense of balance and tension, making each item not just a functional piece but also a work of sculptural art.

Another elegant addition by the product designer is the Column bowl. The bowl is a testament to the harmonious balance of form and function. Made from FSC®-certified oak and finished with food-safe rapeseed oil, this fruit bowl draws inspiration from the stately grace of Ionic columns.
