Inspired by the most sought-after jewels of the 1900s designed by Josef Hoffmann, Nichetto Studio wanted to create a sofa following the objects’ aim of reflecting the wearer’s individuality into autonomous works of art. Soft geometrical shapes intersect with each other forming the core shape for Figure sofa, being displayed at the Milan Design Week in Italy.
This statement-like piece, at the same time extremely versatile, represents the perfect manifestation of this concept of ‘uniting all aspects of life making it a total work of art,’ as Hoffmann, himself would describe.
