Luca Nichetto x Cartier weave design, film and fine jewellery into a 'Theatre of Brilliance'

Luca Nichetto, one of Italy's most celebrated contemporary designers, brings his signature blend of cultural storytelling and refined craftsmanship to Theatre of Brilliance, a collaborative installation with Cartier unveiled during the Oscars season. Known for his multidisciplinary practice, Nichetto specialises in industrial and product design. The studio's ethos is rooted in the marriage of traditional craftsmanship with modern design, influenced by Italian and Scandinavian aesthetics.

In Theatre of Brilliance, Nichetto's creative vision transforms Cartier's Venice showroom into a luminous, theatrical space that pays homage to the city's cinematic legacy and artistic heritage. Inspired by the Venice Mostra del Cinema, the immersive installation draws parallels between the spectacle of the film world and the intricate artistry of Venetian glassmaking.
