Masquespacio embarked on a journey three years ago, fueled by a desire to procure a residence imbued with the quintessential charm of Valencia's historic homes nestled in the countryside. Initially drawn to city centre apartments, their hearts gravitated towards the allure of traditional Valencia houses. Despite encountering numerous obstacles, including four failed attempts at purchasing, they remained steadfast in their pursuit.
Their perseverance bore fruit when they stumbled upon a gem nestled amidst nature's embrace, a dwelling enveloped by lush trees and breathtaking vistas. Six months of meticulous documentation ensued, yet the acquisition remained elusive, plunging them into temporary despair. However, their resolve endured, and within two weeks, fortune smiled upon them once more as they discovered a new abode that captured their hearts instantaneously.
Upon crossing the threshold, Masquespacio's keen eye for preservation became evident. The facade bore the hallmark details of a 20th century Valencia residence, adorned with intricate lattice ornaments and a stately wooden door. Inside, original hydraulic tile floors, brick walls, and ornate ceilings whispered tales of yesteryears, meticulously maintained to retain the home's historical allure.
Their vision materialised into reality within the confines of their office, where vibrant hues harmonised with traditional elements, breathing new life into the space. Layered curtains and bespoke furniture designs forged a seamless blend of past and present, while a transitionary interior garden beckoned tranquillity.
Ascending to the upper level, geometric motifs reminiscent of their graphic design roots interplayed with elements of New Memphis, casting a contemporary spell upon the vintage backdrop. The interior design for the kitchen/living area epitomised sophistication, adorned with marble accents, bespoke furnishings, and a kaleidoscope of colours.
A corridor led to a sun-kissed terrace and a vibrant bathroom design adorned with handmade tiles, evoking Mediterranean charm. Custom curtains veiled private sanctuaries, leading to the pièce de résistance, their sleeping quarters. Here, a spherical bed adorned in fluorescent hues commanded attention, cocooning them in serenity.
Their home stood as a testament to Masquespacio's creative journey, seamlessly blending heritage with innovation, from their graphic design origins to a dash of futurism. Each space bore the imprint of its artistic evolution, paying homage to the house's timeless allure while embracing a vision of contemporary elegance.
