The Italian artist, known for combining art, design, and craftsmanship, presents a series of elegant sculptural and functional objects that draw from everyday life.

Italian designer, Domenico Dolce during an informal chat with me, said: "When they tell you that you are doing too much you have to respond by creating something even bigger, never be afraid to do too much."

The designer's job is to put their art and feelings at the service of the company they work for. A marriage between their inner self and that of the brand. Having had the opportunity to listen to entrepreneurs, who have made their mark in exporting the history of Italy to the world, by putting their passion for a dream at the centre of everything, is something that has a special value, especially today.

Throughout Milan Design Week 2023, I am presenting my new collection titled Limonaia, which is part of an even larger project followed by Federica Sala's curatorship, titled GEN D, that involves 10 designers from all over the world.

One can discover the collection and the project, from April 18 to 23, 2023 at the Palazzo di Dolce e Gabbana Casa on Via Broggi 23 in Milan, from 10 am to 7 pm.

In the coming months, I will be revealing the behind-the-scenes story of the project, made in collaboration with fantastic people who have accompanied me for a whole year. The Mariani Furnace of Impruneta in Tuscany, glass artist Soheila Dilfanian in Novara, sculptor Vito Guardo from Catania, Bottega Intreccio from Mogliano Marche, blacksmith Mauro Solci, Mariella Chiloiro of Milan, and many others. Special thanks go to Fabio Conticelli of Fornace Mariani, without his cheerfulness and passion the pieces would not have been the same.

I learned a lot from this experience and now happy Design Week to everyone!
