The newly opened showroom space from Spanish furniture label Kettal has brought a breath of Mediterranean air to the grey, cold city of London. The outdoor furniture brand recently unveiled its first UK showroom in Clerkenwell, London, at 115-16 Dufferin Street EC1Y 8UR. Spread across 300 square metres, the showroom's crisp white interiors are punctuated with the brand's signature colours and textures to evoke a sense of carefree outdoor living.
Overlooking the bustling street, the vibrant retail space hosts all the latest proposals from the house of Kettal. Visitors will be able to discover all of the collections of the new Kettal catalogue, including the Pavilion O modular system for creating flexible office areas, the Cala high backed armchair inspired by the iconic Emanuelle, and Patricia Urquiola designed Roll Club chair among others. It was only in 2018 when the brand opened its new showroom in New York's prime location - 222 East 59th Street, which brings a fresh warm breeze to the busy streets.
Kettal works with the most important names in the international design scene who collectively have contributed to what is a well rounded, innovative and unique collection. Among the roster of prolific international collaborators that frequently work with Kettal are Doshi Levien, Jasper Morrison, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Rodolfo Dordoni, Emiliana Design studio, Konstantin Grcic, Naoto Fukasawa, Michel Charlot, Vincent Van Duysen, Mario Bellini, Dion and Richard Neutra, Nanna & Jorgen Ditzel and Michael Anastassiades.
The Spanish furniture brand has had an international calling to design and innovation. In the first years of the 21st century, Kettal acquired the brands, Hugonet y Triconfort, which came together to form the Kettal Group. Kettal is present in over 80 countries and has its showrooms in Miami, New York, Barcelona, Marbella, Casablanca and Paris.
