PRESS RELEASE

The visual explores through the allegory of an endless journey that plunges into the depths for a constant search for the intangible. A multi-stage process that will allow us to find what we are looking for. This is Curiosity, and where the name of this piece comes from. It is the first hammer that breaks the walls of paradigms and taboos allowing us to go beyond. The infinite driving force that allows us to evolve, to discover, but above all to learn. I decided to call this piece "Curiosity", taking psychedelia from a personal perspective. It is a subject that although some artists have managed to explore and be able to talk about after having experienced it in real life, I have had to talk about it from a different perspective. I grew up in a very humble context, in Argentina, and where the only thing I could see around me were the consequences of bad and unconscious use, from very close, so I never wanted to encourage something like that.

Today I find myself living in Barcelona, many years later and with a much greater cultural evolution. There are many studies that show that controlled and assisted use it can bring many benefits in terms of mental health. And this is where my curiosity on the subject was awakened, at least for me. I decided to visually represent these sensations through a continuous camera journey, where I go into the space itself, towards the depth, to always discover a new scenario. Playing with some surreal situations also characterizes my work. The reflection of the stone in the water that represents a moon, the staircase, the stars that are part of the inverse landscape, and the interiors that change shape, are all small parts of the same message.
