FIND – Design Fair Asia’s debut edition at the Marina Bay Sands Exhibition Centre presented a spectacle during the Singapore Design Week 2022. The design fair —organised—as a collaborative effort between Fiera Milano and dmg events was a great success and offered opportunities to display and discover design all through its 3-day duration. The design event saw a major footfall of international, regional and local attendees including over 250 design brands, retailers, distributors and product designers. The event ran from September 22 through September 24, 2022, and featured a variety of design-driven displays, panel discussions, design shows, and master classes.
Observing the sponsored support of ITA- Italian Trade Agency, under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, FIND – Design Fair Asia attracted international traders from Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam among other places across the globe. Excellence offered by the Italian design industry was prominently highlighted with the displays of iconic Italian brands including Clan Milano, Nahoor Limelight, FIAM and Riva 1920 among others. Among the innumerable brands to turn heads during the major design fair, German lighting brand ERCO continued its legacy of being a leading international specialist in architectural lighting with an immersive design display during the event.
Founded in 1934 in Germany, ERCO now operates as a global player with independent sales and partner organisations in 55 countries. For FIND- Design Fair Asia, the German brand aimed at platforming itslighting design solutions through an immersive exhibition while showcasing the luminary effects for different spaces and activities. They designed an office space inspired by a CEO’s private office with featured luminaires: Compar, Starpoint and Jilly. The Compar range of recessed lighting tools channelled superior photometric efficiency and light quality while ensuring effective illumination of architectural elements within the space alongside optimal light quality for visual tasks. Whereas Jilly championed modern workspaces while complementing the standard-compliant Starpoint luminaires in the space.

Furthermore, the lighting design brand articulated a temporary space resembling an art gallery and a closed experience room highlighting the Parscan, Eclipse, and Lucy luminaires. The Parscan track lights, synonymous with versatile spotlights highlighted every art piece and sculptural design to perfection. Whereas, the Eclipse Intrack spotlights and the Lucy digital working lights worked wonders through concentrated lighting for art and design.
Complementing ERCO's lighting solutions for interior spaces, the lighting brand also displayed outdoor lighting through an artificial garden featuring Castor bollard luminaires for pathways and public squares, the luxurious cross-shaped grazing light Midipoll and the sophisticated outdoor Beamer lights. The aim was to highlight the use of lights to perfect an artistic and opulent outdoor space. ERCO's display at the design event was a successful showcase that converged multiple indoor and outdoor spaces under one roof highlighted by the brand’s lighting solutions for every space and kind.
