Benjamin Hubert, an award-winning British designer and founder of the London based Layer design agency, has curated the virtual screen glasses for a US tech company Viture. This ultra-sleek, technology-driven eyewear design aims at opening the world’s eyes to a new era of immersive entertainment making Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One and Iron Man’s E.D.I.T.H glasses a reality instead of fragments of an unrealistic utopia.

“The smart eyewear space is typically populated by over-designed, overly technical frames. In creating Viture One, we wanted to deliver the antithesis of this trend. The result is a product that is more lifestyle led, akin to the traditional eyewear you would wear proudly as part of your fashion expression. The classic, minimal silhouette with exquisite detailing enables users to pair the eyewear with their style and discreetly stream media or games anywhere without the need for bulky laptops or other displays,” shares Benjamin on his inspiration for the design.

The lightweight, ergonomic eyewear is a revolution in the world of virtual reality with a 120-inch screen display and an interface compatible with major streaming and gaming platforms including- Youtube, Xbox, GeForce, Cloud, Twitch and many more. Hubert has curated a sleek alternative to the previously bulky smart glasses without compromising on the quality and technological incentives that Viture One promises. Within the fluid and compact design of the glasses, the designer also manages to conceal an OLED display and a speaker grille for a highly immersive experience. This design is further enhanced with curvy edges and a raven black colour to fit every fashion statement. The glasses come with a technical accompaniment of a semi-flexible neckband which houses the central and graphic processing units along with the intuitive controls and batteries for the eyewear. As a spin-off on many new virtual screen glasses, the Viture One glasses are setting high standards for technically advanced fashion accessories.

Considering the specifications, the Viture one glasses provide the users with a plethora of features including a pixel-free virtual reality screen owing to the 1080p definition, which is effectively three times the average resolution of existing VR headsets. The eyewear also incorporates an interchangeable nose bridge to fit every facial structure which easily slides in a keyhole right at the temple. The eyewear is also designed for the utmost viewing comfort with screen adjustments for short-sightedness among other features.
