Frette, the iconic luxury lifestyle brand, celebrates Italian excellence with a captivating installation at the brand’s global flagship boutique on Milan’s Via Manzoni in honour of Milan Design Week and Fuorisalone in collaboration with Florence-based sculpture art studio Frilli Gallery and bespoke lighting experts Luce5. Drift away into A World of Dreams and discover wonders of the Italian imagination. Slip into the dream of Woman on a Hammock, where the pristine beauty and long-standing heritage of Italian artisanal craftsmanship in sumptuous textiles, robust statue production and visionary lighting design coalesce in a surreal universe.
Visitors to A World of Dreams will have the opportunity to explore Frette’s iconic white and timeless signature linen creations synthesised with Frilli Gallery’s curation of exquisite statues, meticulously carved in white marble, all illuminated by distinctive, whimsical and definitively modern lighting from Luce5. The unparalleled craftsmanship of Frette’s fabrics, embellishments and, above all, the iconic Frette look, create a dialogue with the immaculate perfection of the white marble of Frilli Gallery’s masterpieces, both in their romantic and modern interpretations, as well as with the innovative lighting installations of Luce5, with their cutting-edge technology and design. Additionally, visitors to the boutique may discover Frette’s new Fall/Winter 2021 Collection of masterfully crafted bed and bath linens, versatile accent pieces and elegant loungewear, featuring a striking colour palette of Aloe, Amaryllis and Dark Azure that has been inspired by a rekindled connection to nature.
The installation will be on display from September 4 to 12, 2021 at Frette’s Via Manzoni Showroom, located at Via Manzoni 11.
