An unprecedented content and a daring debut for Dimoremilano - the video’s namesake - in which the new collection is harmoniously accompanied by the presence of the human figure. A male and female immortalised by the lens, motionless, static; silhouetted figures. Portions of their physiognomy observed in movement thanks only to a breath of wind. Frames captured by the strong presence of shadows, crucial to the scenes to create softness and add classicism to the shot. Dimoremilano furnishings are set up linearly, only few pieces in harmony with each other combined with details in movement, like a floating curtain , and textures such as lace that characterise the scene. Black and white interchanges with shadows, the duotone color mode of the faces leave room for the nuances of the furniture .

About Dimorestudio

Founded in Milan in 2003 by Britt Moran and Emiliano Salci, Dimorestudio is a full-service, global architectural and design studio that spans residential, retail and hospitality projects , in addition to, producing furnishings, textile and lighting designs under the name of Dimoremilano. The 19th century location of Via Solferino in Milan’s Brera district is the heart of the business for the 40 plus person team as well as for Dimoregallery, the evocative setting which features a rotating installation of the collection of the great masters of the 20th century and contemporary designers, championed by the Gallery. “The word ‘Dimore’ in Italian means dwelling but conjures up images of old villas clinging to their aristocratic origins. It lends the name a sense of nostalgia. "I think it’s our DNA: we take a historical approach to a project to give it some roots, and then we inject it with more of a contemporary feel," says founder Britt Moran of Dimorestudio.
