AXOR, established in 1993, has operated with three core values since the beginning—avant-garde, personalisation and perfection. The brand is now synonymous with innovative, sophisticated, custom-made bathroom design. For the brand, 2023 encompassed surpassing their own standards with new products and partnerships.

Driven by an urge to look back at the year gone by, STIR enlists people, pieces, places and events that summarise AXOR’s best of 2023.

1. People

Augmenting their list of collaborations with reputed contemporary designers such as Jean-Marie Massaud and Antonio Citterio, AXOR joined forces with British designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby. Together they breathed life into AXOR One, a collection of elegant archetypes for the wash basin, bathtub and shower.

2. Pieces

The AXOR One bathroom collection embodies elegance and purity, realised through the lens of innovative design. The ensemble reimagined archetypes to enhance functionality and control—bringing timeless design to bathrooms.

The AXOR One faucets feature a gentle taper to their curved spouts—a detail that signals the exceptional quality of design and manufacturing. Utilising Select technology, the mechanical faucet handles enable precise, water-saving on/off and temperate control.

The collection was expanded to include faucets and fixtures in a selected colour palette, in collaboration with Barber and Osgerby. AXOR One Colors takes cues from a series of naturally occurring interactions between light, colour, and water.

3. Places

The Paris-based Chouchou Hotel, named after the French term of endearment, featured interior design embellished with AXOR solutions. Product designs such as AXOR Showerheaven and AXOR Citterio M were juxtaposed with the hotel that references French craftsmanship(https://www.stirworld.com/tags-craftsmanship), design and culture.

STIRred 2023 wraps up the year with compilations of the best in architecture, art, and design from STIR. Did your favourites make the list? Tell us in the comments!
