On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2023, Joe Armitage a London-based designer presents the ‘Noveconi Chandelier’, lighting design exclusively conceived for the Milanese antique gallery. This chandelier is made up of two tiers of conical lamp shades - six on the top and three on the bottom. The frame is made of brass rods under compression and fabric cables under tension, reminiscent of Buckminster Fuller's tensegrity structures. The nine conical shades are also based on the design of the shades on the original Armitage Floor lamp showcasing a unique blend of artistry and technical knowledge in the contemporary design of the lamp.

Its arms are oriented in a simple yet refined formation angled around a centre point. “The chandelier is an evolution of the Armitage lamp design on a scale not seen before. The form of the piece has a level of complexity which is designed to compliment the spirit of the Nilufar collection," states Joe Armitage.
