Galerie Philia presents The Reveries, an 'enchanting' exhibition of ceramic creations by contemporary designer Elsa Foulon, during the upcoming NYCxDESIGN Festival 2025. The showcase, from May 15 – 21, 2025, is set to highlight the France-based ceramicist's works, where sculptural elegance meets organic form.

Through The Reveries, Elsa explores the beauty of the fleeting moment, inviting contemplation on the delicate balance between thought and creation. Rooted in a background in 20th-century decorative arts, Foulon has carved out a unique place in contemporary ceramic designs. Entirely self-taught, she blends intuitive artistry with thoughtful design, crafting unique and striking sculptural art pieces that reveal the subtle interplay between material and meaning.
Working from her tranquil Paris studio, the French designer honours traditional ceramic techniques and craftsmanship while embracing the kiln's unpredictability. The glow of hidden light within the hollows of her clay sculptures enhances their tactile beauty, while evoking a sense of intimacy and wonder.
The design exhibition in New York promises to be "an invitation to lose oneself in the dreamlike realm of Elsa Foulon's ceramics, where contemporary design meets timeless craftsmanship," as relayed by the gallery based in New York, Geneva, Singapore and México.
