This event will focus on the design and construction of the biggest musical instruments: auditoriums and music halls. Speakers will give their opinion and point of view regarding how music and architecture go hand in hand in a debate guided by Ángela García de Paredes and Ignacio Pedrosa, founders of Paredes Pedrosa. After the debate, Miguel de la Ossa Peinador will offer a piano recital with covers and original pieces.
Speakers:
1. Ángela García Paredes and Ignacio G. Pedrosa: they are the founders of Paredes Pedrosa Studio, they will host the event. They are professors in the Project Department of the Architecture School of Madrid. Their studio’s activity is focused on public projects, mainly about cultural equipment. Their work has been recognized with the Gold Medal of Arts in 2014, Spanish Architecture Award in 2007 or the European AADIPA Award in 2015.
2. Rubén Picado and Coque Blas are architects and founders of Picado/deBlas Studio. They develop different scale projects, from objects to landscapes. Part of their essence is how close they are with all their collaborators and clients. Their mantra is a quote by Angel Ferrant: "I do not trust what I know, but I am sure about what I feel".
3. Covadonga Blasco: phd and co-founder of Blasco+Capuzzi Landscape Research Office, a platform for the development of landscape projects. She is currently directing the School of Artistic Professions of the Círculo de Bellas Artes of Madrid.
