Exhibition Details

During the first week of July,  the Food Design Festival will be celebrated in Madrid, turning the city into the capital of Food Design, Food Tech and Sustainability. It will be a week of conferences, roundtables, masterclasses, workshops and networking sessions with a huge programme of activities guided by national and international designers and professionals of the value chain of food industry. This festival is the first one to explore the relationship between food and design, and, being independent, plural and international, it aims to be the main meeting point inside the agro-food sector.
For this first session of the Food Design Festival in Roca Madrid Gallery, we will have international professionals from disciplines such as gastronomy, design and brand management, product and packaging design, digital artists, food innovations experts… Among other topics, they will discuss how design influences gastronomy and redesigning school gastronomic spaces. After the event, we will have a workshop called Challenge Product Food Design.
The second session on July 5th will unite well-known personalities of food industry, as well as the HORECA sector. Their conferences will focus on entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as the creation of new opportunities.  
On July 6th, with the title “I ❤️ Food Design”, Food Design Festival invites a few prestigious food designers with international careers who will deliver conferences on tendencies and news on Food Design and how to apply them to food system. Later on, Xavi Morón and Agustina Pallazzo will offer a Food Show in our Wellness Room, with the collaboration of Paula Rojo.
For the last session of the Food Design Festival on 8th July, a select number of business owners, entrepreneurs and foodtech start-ups will debate on protein alternatives, which are shaking up our diets and food industry itself.
