As time passes, women today are given more opportunities to explore the possibilities of different identities. In the world of Art & Design, the power of female artists and designers is getting more attention from society. Female artists with their unique perspective and excellent design ability have brought new energy to modern art. Objective is pleased to present "The Feelings We Wear", a group exhibition of female artists, together with these nine female artists' works, Objective explores the diversity of female creation in the field of collectible design & functional art. The amazing artistic creation of these female artists includes images, paintings, sculptures, installations and furniture, etc., They have formed unique styles in their own field and show the warmest, softest and reinterpretation of objects from a female point of view. Eventually, the work will lead to discussions about self-awareness, rationality and sensitivity, freedom and bondage.
Charlotte Kingsnorth deconstructs and recreates antique furniture using traditional craft techniques. This method of making has finally been taken as an art form, invading the industrial design process and expressing the artist's attitude towards life. TSBTD (The Stone by The Door) is a tale of two friends, Mimi and Meya, it's a result of combined ideas and gestures. This special work with a strong sense of sculpture and life is not only worth being loved on, looked at, but also welcomed home by. Sirine Fattouh explores the complex relationship to her country of origin and the consequences of conflicts and wars on peoples' everyday lives by her own and others' memories collected from testimonies. Finally, to address issues around gender and queer identity. By building multi-media narratives, Fei Yining explores ambiguous human emotions presents the entangled relationship between the deeply informatized world and the individuals trapped by it through abstract narration, imaginary prophecy and a combination of absurdity and reality... Each artist was free to discover her own unique meaning, whether she is an individual, a peer, a group of people or in a multi-dimensional space. But at the end of the day, everyone was the ultimate authority over their own reality.
