Brera Design District celebrates its 16th edition, embracing the theme “Connected Worlds”, proposed by Fuorisalone. This theme perfectly reflects the multifaceted spirit of a district that has evolved into both a one-of-a-kind brand and an international point of reference. Brera Design District stands out for its unique blend of craftsmanship, art, culture, lifestyle, food & wine, and hospitality.
Brera Design Week returns, bringing together renowned professionals and established brands with 204 permanent showrooms, including 11 new openings. As every year, the district welcomes investors, sponsors, and over 170 temporary exhibitors, enriching the event lineup and reinforcing Brera as the place to be during Fuorisalone. With a total forecast of over 300 initiatives, Brera Design Week continues to be a key hub of creativity and innovation.
The Brera Design Apartment unveils its new look with “Horizons”, a project by Zanellato/Bortotto. This transformation perfectly embodies the designers’ vision, celebrating craftsmanship, the uniqueness of places, memory, and tradition. By thoughtfully using surfaces, colors, and materials, they create a new narrative that blends heritage with contemporary design.
Each of the five rooms in the Brera Design Apartment is custom-designed, drawing inspiration from a unique suggestion that shapes its vision. Together, they form a journey across space and time, where nuances, surfaces, and graphic elements weave a cohesive narrative. This design approach stays true to the stories and connections that inspired the new Brera Design Apartment, ensuring a seamless flow between its spaces.
The image of Brera Design Week 2025
The visual identity of Brera Design Week 2025 comes to life through the artistic vision of Marta Signori, who interprets the district with animated illustrations in collaboration with motion designer Valerio Di Mario. Crafted from a carefully debated color palette, the design features brick-red, shades of green, cornflower blue, and lilac, creating a bold yet harmonious contrast. Clean, essential shapes emerge against a clear landscape, resulting in a dynamic and contemporary visual with strong impact.
