The Piano Nobile Project in Venice
The Piano Nobile Project in Venice
An unforgettable experience for lovers of design and luxury.
Piano Nobile is an exclusive hospitality project that offers its customers an accommodation service, in prestigious properties in Venice, aimed at Luxury aficionados. Piano Nobile has based its hospitality philosophy on these premises, seeking to synthesise its concept of Luxury with the aim of transmitting values of culture, freedom and absolute expertise. The offer is divided into apartments measuring from 70 to 500 square meters located in central locations in the city, ensuring maximum comfort and just the right level of privacy.
Tiepolo and Santa Fosca are two noble floors steeped in atmosphere within which the historical soul of the premises has been enhanced through the meticulous restoration of the terraces, the seminato flooring, the plasters and the fixtures, embellishing them with a more modern soul, through the custom-made furnishings characterised by clean shapes and design accessories. The renovation project was entrusted to Bianco Calce, a Brescia-based interior design studio.
The Santa Fosca apartment offers a unique experience immersed in the atmosphere of the city, an extraordinary space recently selected by Lacure Villas of the Marriot group. The fine interiors are characterised by design elements selected from the best furniture brands. Consisting of large and elegant spaces, Santa Fosca is located on the Cannaregio side, offering one of the most beautiful views of the city.
The restoration was designed by Bianco Calce for the customer who loves music and is a bon viveur. For this reason precious details were provided within the space such as the grand piano, a prestigious piece that confers an unforgettable atmosphere to the apartment, overlooking the golden sunsets that the view offers from the strategic position of the location.
The original vintage objects of a cinematographic and theatrical character complete and characterise the spaces, creating an indissoluble link with the city of the film festival and “La Fenice” theatre. There Quattrocento wallpaper by Inkiostro Bianco decorates one of the bedrooms and is coherently included in the interior project due to its chromatic characteristics and the simplicity of the forms.
The soft and relaxing colours and the curvilinear appeal of the decoration recall the Venetian mullioned windows with a modern twist that is completely harmonious with the combinations and choices of the other furnishing accessories.
Tiepolo is a large apartment surrounded by the magical light of the lagoon, a majestic space in which to live, immersed in a classic Venetian atmosphere from where to admire stunning views as well as providing an excellent base to visit the historical locations that are just a stone’s throw away. Tiepolo occupies the first floor of a sumptuous building. The apartment has been completely restored creating a harmonious contrast between iconic classic and modern design elements. In the main hall, the warm tones of the seminato flooring and the historic glass of the doors are elegantly linked to the solid wood structures of the chairs and the golden finish of the mirror from the early 1900s, offering a very delicate contrast with the cold-toned paint. The bedrooms, very welcoming and clean in shape, have been designed to enhance the beautiful view of the Misericordia. Furniture in painted metal and lacquered wood surround the seats and beds created using fabric with soft shapes and elegant tones. The walls of the bed area have been decorated with Inkiostro Bianco wallpapers characterised by light colours and a modern personality. Deste, Prunus and Pop Color are the subjects chosen for the single suites, three different subjects but with a basic stylistic link: they are all of a white base with a lived-in look and intentionally contrasting with the style of the building.
Lighting also plays a fundamental role in the project. All the selected pieces are iconic productions and fit cleverly into the various areas of the home. The four Toio floor lamps designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1962 for Flos are the prominent features, positioned in the four corners of the main hall.
The beautiful Venetian floors contribute to making this apartment one of the most desirable and perfect places in which to immerse yourself in the atmospheres of the lagoon.
Piano Nobile offers an exclusive point of view with which to discover the beauty of Venice through an experience in which every detail conveys sophistication and elegance as well as refined and unparalleled aesthetic taste.
The Bianco Calce studio often uses Inkiostro Bianco wallpapers in its projects, especially where a strong personality is required, whether they are private homes or public areas.
The wallpaper, as evidenced by the Piano Nobile project, can be used as a breaking element that creates discontinuity within an environment while maintaining a coherent dialogue with the colours and furnishings that complete the different areas of the project. A covering that, from its classic decorative roots, evolves into a design solution, completely and successfully modifying the atmosphere, an application now also made possible by the customisation capacity made available by Inkiostro Bianco for its decorations. A significant and undoubtedly winning added value when it comes to renovations in the hospitality sector and historic structures that involve important conservation parameters.
