The Quirinale Contemporaneo project was strongly promoted by the Italian President Sergio Mattarella, to enrich the spaces of the Quirinale - residence of the Presidency - with art pieces and design objects belonging to the Republican era of Italy (1946 onwards). Armani/Casa is the only design brand born in the fashion world that was selected for this project: the brand donated a Croquis rug in silk measuring 48 squared meters and two fabrics (Lyon, 2016, and Montreal, 2017). The brand dresses the spaces of the Torrino, the highest of the entire building, whose dining room - where institutional lunches and dinners take place - has a breathtaking 360° view on Rome.
