Molteni&C|Dada showcases its new 2021 Collections at London Design Festival

On the occasion of London Design Festival 2021, Molteni&C|Dada showcases its new 2021 Collections and an exclusive installation at Brompton Design District, designed by Jasper Morrison , at the new Molteni&C|Dada Flagship Store on Brompton Road. Absolute protagonist of the installation is the new Tea chair. Conceived as a tribute to lightness, the chair’s structure is completely made of solid wood and outlines its profile in its entirety. With Tea, the designer redefines the concept of seating in a contemporary way, adapting it to all types of furniture, with stability and practicality being of primary importance. Its lines blend elegance and ergonomics in complete harmony to create comfortable yet sophisticated seating.

The installation will display multiple Tea chairs on two opposite white pedestals. For the Festival, the chairs will feature natural and black oak structures with a mixture of dark brown leather together with the new eco-friendly fabric by Kvadrat in a red tone. As well, the flagship offers visitors the opportunity to be immersed in the new Collections - presented for the first time in the UK – under the stylistic vision of the award-winning Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen, the company’s creative director. Vincent Van Duysen’s new designs include the versatile Marteen sofa, showcased in a stunning warm fabric, the sophisticated Margou armchair in eucalyptus and sand fabric, the iconic Hector Night system in pewter and the new modular 505 UP system. As a true icon of the 2021 Collection, the Round D.154.5 armchair is displayed. More than 60 years after the original idea, Round D.154.5 is now reborn thanks to the Heritage Collection reissue project by Molteni&C, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives.
