At Cersaie 2021, FMG Fabbrica Marmi Graniti participates with Iris Ceramica Group brands in the project ‘The Perfect Blend. Foresighted Surfaces for a Sustainable Beauty’. A choral story which, celebrating the 60 years of the Holding, tells of the values that have always guided the company history. The multimedia journey, with three artistic audio and video installations, is devoted to three sets of values: beauty and sustainability, architecture and nature, creativity and technology.
FMG contributes to the choral narration of ‘The Perfect Blend’ by developing the theme beauty and sustainability in an immersive architectural set-up at its showroom in Fiorano Modenese. The installation invites visitors on a fascinating journey through the FMG world. At the entrance, guests are welcomed by a large portal covered with Marmi MaxFine Connemarble Irish: a bright green marble texture which is also used in the bar area and in the installation introducing the Historical Museum.
The shape of the portal also stars inside the showroom: an attractive succession of surfaces reinterpret the rarest and most precious stone materials, room by room. The size of the Marmi MaxFine slabs bring all the expressive, graphic power of Kuroda, deep black with unexpected ochre reflections, Rosso Lepanto, with its strong ornamental value and Brazilian Blue, with its exotic blue shades. The journey continues with a discovery of other charming marbles, running from the sombre Delicato Cremo to the elegant Breccia Medicea and on to the multi-coloured Ocean White. The Marmi MaxFine catalogue is also enriched with Grigio Alpi Carnia, a natural stone with cold hues, and Black Onyx, sophisticated and enigmatic, with its iridescent black shading. A close visual study and an amazing camouflage effect accompanied by continuous innovation and the use of cutting-edge technologies and production systems.
On display at the showroom is also the Full Body collections and the corners reserved for Active Surfaces and the latest Hypertouch technology. Developed by the Iris Ceramica Group, HyperTouch is an innovative integrated system of sensors used to control lighting, HVAC, audio-video systems and windows, simply by touching or lightly pressing the ceramic surface.
At Cersaie 2021, visitors can trace the 60 years of the Iris Ceramica Group in a photographic exhibition of the original shots of Pollution 1972 - For a new aesthetics of pollution and Pollution 2018 – RefleAction. In the showroom in Fiorano Modenese, materials, forms, images and words are linked by a common thread to the concept of ‘The Perfect Blend’, uniting all the values of the Group. Interpreting the theme of Beauty, FMG goes well beyond the mere concept of aesthetics, looking to a future where new sustainability goals can be achieved through investments, research, attention to the surrounding environment and renewable energies with zero-emissions.
